Cozad Community Schools is pleased to announce CCS 21st Century Classroom Learning Initiative. We are excited about implementing the first phase of this initiative, a 1:1 iPad program at the High School for the 2012-13 school year. All students 9-12 will be provided with an iPad to be used in pursuit of their education 24/7. In addition to the initiative at the high school, the program includes strategies at each building. There will be a State Track sendoff on Thursday at 3:00 pm in the HS AuditoriumCongratulations to Alec Geiger who placed 4th in the shot with a throw of 32’ 4.5” at the Nebraska Middle School State Championships on Saturday. Other girls competing in the meet were Becca Etherton, Reilly Goings, Madi Gilg, Hannah Thramer, Bri Loftin, and Katrina German.
Cozad Community Schools will be offering a Summer Food Program starting June 4th. The program will run from June 4th through July 20th. Lunch meal will be served from 11:30 to 12:45 at the Cozad Middle School Monday through Friday. This meal is free for everyone 18 and under. The lunch menu can be found under the "Parent" or "Student" link above or also on our Cozad Community School iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch app, which is free in the App Store. Students going into 4th, 5th, and 6th grade can enter our contest the week of June 4th to June 8th to go to Husker Stadium on June 13th. Students will meet players, a NFL player, Tom Osborne and receive giveaways. Students must have parent written permission to attend. Eight students will be drawn to go and they will be accompanied by Diane Pflaster, Gloria Kloepping, Lisa Petska, and Gloria Palmer. Parents can register to become members of the Cozad Community Schools website. Registration connects you to your student's classroom webpage sending you notices when new items are posted. To register, click the "WEB REGISTRATION" link at the top (or click here to register). You will need to know your child's PowerSchool ID to register. If you need your child's ID number, please email Patty Wolfe at pwolfe@esu10.org or call your child’s school and leave a message. Please note that not all CCS teachers are active users of this website.
